33 cl can served in a huge snifter. Cloudy amber pour with a medium-lasting, nicely lacing, frothy tan head. Intense aromas of conifers and wild honey, along with grass, dank, some citrus and some biscuit. Crisper than anticipated, which balances perfectly the big boozy alcohol and the horse-kick bitterness. This one lingers long, long, long. Good ale, to sip slowly.

Bottle. Orange golden color. Dried orange and oily hops in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with oily hops, dried orange and some tropical fruit. Fresh, crisp, powerful. Long aftertaste with hints of white pepper and tobacco.

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with a lacing, off-white head. Herbal and slightly greasy hop aroma. Rich, sweet, caramellish body with a boozy finish. The aroma side of hops is really downplayed here, it's all about muscle and sweet caramel. Overrated beyond belief! 120719

Can at home. Pours a somewhat hazy dark gold, little head. Aroma is super hoppy, loads of pine, herbal hops, some grapefruit and citrus fruit in general. Big body. Flavour is heavy and malty, quite boozy actually, though not in an unpleasant way due to the extreme hops. Hoppiness is really piney, with herbal spicy notes. Mostly pine. Some fruity notes, especially grapefruit of course but also some lemon. A short finish, quite dry, hoppy. Really tasty Imperial IPA.
