The Steinfelder Klosterbier is an honest but also tasty beer that is brewed by a master hand according to the purity law of 1516 and matured for you in the vats of the Gemünd brewery.

Bottle. Color: Hazy amber, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, light roasted toast, caramel notes. Taste: Dark malt, some caramel, toast, light roasted grain, hoppy background. Moderate sweet, light bitterness. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Mwah.

0.5 l bottle from 'Getränke Hilgers', best before April 2025. Hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity-floral aroma of grains, caramel, honey and some nuts. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a little fruity-floral taste of caramel, grains, toasted nuts and a touch of honey, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little metallic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Decent beer actually, not overly deep maybe but quite quaffable.

Many thanks to Gabriel 😀 Large foamy off white head on an unclear amber coloured body. Sweaty, malt & toffee aroma. Medium bodied, soft with a foamy back. Malt, digestive biscuits, toffee & treacle tastes with a bitter lightly hopped finish. A mixed up - nice enough.

Bottle. Clear amber/brown with a regular white head. Aroma of grains, caramel and bread. Taste is all that plus some hints and citrus fruits and minerals. Inoffensive bordering on being bland. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Something to shrug one‘s shoulders to.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, brownish, small head. Malty-sweetish aroma. Starts mild, fine malty, hints of caramel, mild sweetness. Well balanced finish, soft-malty. Nice!

Bottle from my European Summer Secret Santa, many thanks. Amber color with thick white head. Very caramelly aroma. Strong caramel in taste with some malt, very light hops.

Again a 0,5 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Unclear pale amber in the glass. Two finger head. Caramel smell with some malt. Taste is more low caramel, some malt but scratchy hop. More balanced in the second part. Above average carbonation. Okay.

Clear pale amber colour, tall frothy white to off-white head, dissipates quickly to a small layer, fair lacing. Aroma toasted malts, caramel, grain, hay. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, toffee, toasted bread. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, toasty, burnt caramel, bit metallic, spicy notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, decent.

50cl Bottle from REWE Stenten. Just slightly hazy copper amber colour, creamy off-white head. Aroma of nuts, toast, leaves, caramel. Flavour is light to medium sweet, light malty, some caramel, toast, light nutty, bitter finish. Light bodied, high in carbonation. Decent, but a Dunkel, really?
