Bottle (can't recall where I picked it up from) had this Sunday 27th October during a Zoom chat with Scott and Mandy after a day of working out on the garden. We have a Thomasina Miers, Bacon, Pumpkin and Bean Pot for tonight. Pours gold, clear appearance, mid sized white head, taste is good, a little fruity and decent maltiness, more'ish' and enjoying this.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Getreidiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich getreidig, strohig, malzig, leicht grasig hopfig, würzig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Erlkönig Extra hell, Flasche aus Mixpaket vom Biershop Bayern. - Tiefes Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase fein gerstiges, zart karamelliges helles Malz und dezenter herbaler Hopfen. - Antrunk tief hellmalzig mit deutlicher Gerste, dezenter Malzsüße, Spuren von Honig und Karamel und verhaltener doch gediegener herbal-hopfenwürziger Herbe mit ein klein wenig Zitrusfrucht. Schieder und Forster nennen hier getreidige Fruchtsüße, und so schief sich das anhört, so trifft es doch. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang leicht trockene, feine Kräuterherbe. - Rundes, reifes Export, eindeutig kein Festbier - dafür fehlt der Wums - aber ein äußerst solider Vertreter der aussterbenden Biersorte Export. 500 ml bottle. Clear golden, small head. Biscuit malt, hay, straw, nuts, some caramel. Malty sweetness, mild dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry finish. Well made Export.

Bottle, from trade with Maria. A finger-thick, dense, white head forms over a clear, quite pale golden body. The aroma is rather neutral, but far from bad. Pale malts, fruityness and some grassy hints. Crisp and pleasantly bitter, with pale malts as a backdrop. Grass, a light peppery touch and some citrus too. Fruityness and bitterness in the end. Overall, a pleasant Helles, crisp and refreshing. 120211
