33 cl bottle form the super markt in Heidelberg. Nutty nose, chocolate, light caramel. Hazy brown-orange with a low, thick head. Chocolatey malt flavor, again nutty, raisins, yeasty a bit. Fnishes somewhat dry and minerally with a bit of nice peppery hops. Pretty quaffable but not so special.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines and drunk at home. Clear dark brown red beer with a lasting cream head. It’s a little sweet if I’m honest. OK though. Some sweet malt, not much fruit, some dark fruits, not great depth but to be honest it’s fine, not as good as the Faust Schwarz before it. Not much hop, ok carbonation. Fine.

Bottle. Dark red, almost brown, creamy lacing white head. Melonoidin malt aroma, light grass. Medium light body, mellow mouthfeel. Light berrylike, malt base, a hint roast, grassy hops, some salt/minerals towards the finish. Berries and caramel in the aftertaste. A bit boring initially, but start unfolding after a few minutes to a quite fresh and quaffable brew.
