Unclear amber with a foamy head. Fried banana, some clove, estery notes, lemon juice, some caramel. Dry citrusy bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry zesty malty bittersweet finish. Good Urweisse!

Copper colored with a foamy head. Yeasty, dough-like aroma with understated banana. Taste has a bready, yeasty, dough-like sweetness up front. There’s a mineral and grainy bitterness at the back. Clingy, chewy body, moderate carbonation. Grows on you.

Can at Tria: pours orange hazy with white head. Aroma is banana and herbs and spices. Pretty drinkable with nice flavor. Not too sweet. Solid.

It's a bit darker and has less of the traditional banana clove flavors of the premiere German hefeweitzens.

16oz can pours out copper color topped with a sand head. Nose is nice sweet banana bread spice notes. Taste is more of the banana bread notes spice and a wheat kick.

(Thanks, Jim! ozzy70) Can. A- Straw, mild clove, bready. A- Copper color, clear liquid, white head. T- Malty, caramel, wheat, mild banana. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Didn't taste like any hefe I've had before. Almost more like a dunkelweizen IMO. Not bad just not really traditional I'd say.

Darkest hefe ever? Definitely delish though, love the canned unfiltered-ness. Nice banana and spices.

0,5 l bottle. Murky flat orange in the glass. Nearly two finger white foamy head. Wheat yeast and clove on the nose. Taste starts with dry wheat and bitterness, sulfur, yeasty. Some banana and orange. Little bit rough aftertaste.
