Darkest hefe ever? Definitely delish though, love the canned unfiltered-ness. Nice banana and spices.

0,5 l bottle. Murky flat orange in the glass. Nearly two finger white foamy head. Wheat yeast and clove on the nose. Taste starts with dry wheat and bitterness, sulfur, yeasty. Some banana and orange. Little bit rough aftertaste.

Bottle picked up in a mixed case from the brewery webshop and consumed at home sat outside, it's been a very hot 🔥 weekend but looks feels like we may get a thunderstorm soon, had this Sunday 15th August 2021 cooking a homemade Canelloni and about to put on some tunes. Pours dark amber, hazy, mid sized but not hugely impressive white head. Nice mouthfeel, soft, light banana, however not so noticeable on the aroma. Trying this alongside the masters of this style namely Schneider Weisse. Good beer but in terms of their output I prefer their lagers.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Been a while since I've had a real German hefe, and its definitely not the wheat ales they try to pawn off as weizens in the USA. This is the real deal, no orange slice needed. Cloudy mahogany pour with a light beige towering head. Sweet malty aroma, cloves. Taste adds the banana and bubblegum flavors , brown bread, full and meaty. A bit on the sweeter side, but really top notch.

Ganz eindeutig ein dunkles Weizen (auch wenn es einige Internetportale als helles Weizen führen). Sehr wohlschmeckend. Eher auf der süßen Seite. Malzig. Minimal röstig. Allerdings viel zu viel Kohlensäure. Das passt hier nicht. Weicher wäre besser.

Tap at Watering Hole. Murky orange amber colour. Small dense bubbly white head. Aroma is banoffee, plenty of wheatiness too. Quite earthy. Touch of spice. Taste is good. Not as banana-y as some are. Nice graininess there too. Well rounded with a little bit of spice at the end.

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours deep gold, very hazy, with fluffy and persistent white foam, medium grained. Aroma is fruity but delicate, and grainy. Body is average, with good carbonation, tickling your tongue. Taste is fairly sweet, with the banana feeling being most evident in the final.
