Cask at the Nags Head, Covent Garden - as Nags Head,16/07/18. Clear golden copper with a decent off white head, good full glass lacing ensues. Nose is mellow fruit rinds, breads, straw, biscuit, light caramel. Taste comprises airy malts, toffee, toasted grains, light fruit cake, and little hedgerow. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. So so bitter ... a bit on the thin side.

Draft at the Nag’s Head - Covent Garden. Hazy amber body with small creamy head. Rather pedestrian bitter, gentle malts in aroma and taste. Nothing too remarkable here. Drinkable, but forgettable.

Cask @ Nags Head McMullen, Covent Garden, London. Clear golden color, small creamy white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, malt bitter, bitter and a weird kind of slightly vegetal hoppyness. Average body and carbonation. One of so so many, but it’s ok, drinkable.

Glir ubekymret over drøvelen.

Cask at Nags Head Bishops Stortford. Golden orange with a medium head. Aroma is citrus. Flavour is yeasty fruit, a little bready on a dry base.

Cask pint at The Nags Head. Amber colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma, hints of toffee and nuts. Smooth flavour, mostly malty but not sweet, tolerable hops in the finish.
