This beer, amber and bitter although light and fresh, is brewed on the basis of high quality raw materials. Very digestible, it gives off fruity aromas making it particularly tasty. A family recipe, it exists since 1993, at first brewed by l'Achouffe but nowadays it is brewed at the Brasserie des Trois Fourquets / Brasserie Lupulus.

Bottle. Musty rose, orange peel, and malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with large white head. Sweet orange malt flavor up front with a musty black pepper and mild bitter hops finish. Good body. A very nice beer.

Bottled (from BelgianShop a long time ago). Hazy yellowish golden colour with mediumsized white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel malts along with some fruits, alcohol and mild yeastyness. Flavour is bready and caramelly malts along with some slight fruity and floral hoppyness that ends rather grassy. Also some slight yeastyness. Aftertaste is mainly fruity and yeasty.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, golden colour hue with yeast flakes and a big foamy white head. Quite shy initial aroma. Slightly yeasty and sweet pale malty nose with a delicate flowery hoppy touch in the background. Moderately sweet flavour with a whiff of acidity, medium to full bodied with a calm carbonation. Pale malt character, moderately bready and fruity taste; malt-accented, slightly bitter finish with a moderate presence of hops and a rather strong alcoholic tang (11.IV.09).

33cl bottle at Delirium Cafe. Old dusty bottle. Pours hazy golden with a fine white head. Nose is sweet of oranges, yeast & malts. Medium bodied. Low carbonation. Matured malty. Round and smooth. Love the fruityness in this one. Very drinkable.

33 cL bottle. Pours unclear yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is classic yeasty, caramel malt yet also pilsner malt it seems. Flavour holds a lot of classic pilsner malt and hops giving the impression of a Belgian pilsner, yet also with a distinct yeast presence and caramel notes. Medium dry and bitter finish. Light yeasty fruity lasting finish.
