This beer, amber and bitter although light and fresh, is brewed on the basis of high quality raw materials. Very digestible, it gives off fruity aromas making it particularly tasty. A family recipe, it exists since 1993, at first brewed by l'Achouffe but nowadays it is brewed at the Brasserie des Trois Fourquets / Brasserie Lupulus.

Bottle. Clear medium yellow / orange (golden) color with a average fizzy fair lacing white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy and yeasty, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is lively. Good balance and nice beer. ;o))

Hazy golden ale with a creamy white head. Nice wheaty aroma with notes of orange peels and nice floral hops. Rich mouthfeel, creamy, with nice curacao notes, rich and sweet malt, good hops balancing the whole. This is a rich blonde. At Moeder Lambic’s, Brussels, April 2005.

Bottled. Hazy golden, smallhead. Toffee and grass up front. Soft and gentle with medium body. Caramelly and lightly fruity, low bitterness. A really well balanced beer. Pleasant, not extatic.

Bottled (BB 06/2008)
Hazy yellow color, good off-white head. Yeasty fruity nose (pumpkin, pinewood). Carbonated mouthfeel. Medium-bodied, spicey, slightly fruity, not overly sweet. Slightly peppery aftertaste. Listed here as a belgian strong ale but very saison-like flavor. This one has also clearly some Achouffe character.

(Bottle 33 cl) Amber coloured beer with a frothy, white head. Very malty, fruity nose - typical ale character. Hoppy but not overly so - but dry throughout, not much residual sugar here. 020898

Bottle. Golden colour, big white head. Sweet, watery flavour with notes of some weird spice which I don’t really care for. Tastes a bit moldy and dusty.
