Bottle from Utobeer, Borough Market, Southwark, London, 13.11.10 consumed at home 17.11.10 Pours murky brown with off-white head. Aroma is Slight yeast and alcohol noted on the aroma. This is quite soft in the mouth with tickly bubbles playing on the tongue and a hoppy edge with some alcohol also noted. There is some toffee but this is soon displaced by a very slight tartness, its ok but I’m not in raptures, maybe some ageing would improve this? A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, citrus, and a bit of wood, leading to a tart brett finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours amber with a slight haze and a dense off-whte head. Aroma is tart fruity. Medium body, overripe fruit and yeast with a vague underlying tartness - a rather sophisticated tartness. Dryish finish. Quite odd - but then again what would you expect from a British Belgian Strong Ale! 080210

Bottled at The Rake. Slightly hazy amber with a big, off-white head. Dried fruity with some malt, vineous sherry and a hint of brett. Caramel and chocolate flavour with a drying wooden touch of brett. Maybe not as intended but the brett worked very well.
