Personal contribution. 50 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBSG II. BBF 29/06/2015. Pours a clear golden with little white head. Nose is heavy on the spices, citrus, lightly sweet with some yeast, touch fruity & bitter herbs. Taste is bitter up fronts, spices, white peer, bitter herbs, touch citrus, restrain bitterness balanced by fruits, toffee and BE yeast sweetness in the back. Easy to drink, good carb. An excellent triple which is a style that has a lot of clunkers in my opinion.

Clear orange beer, small irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: banana, bit herbal, grains, hay, bit grassy, citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, some banana peel, pretty bitter, orange peel. Aftertaste: orange peel, bit sweet, hay, grains, bitter touch. Correct, yet pretty boring. Could use a bit of a hop kick here...

Bottle @ benzai. Clear golden yellow to orange with a minimal head. Smells fruity, malts, herbs. Tastes fruity, fresh.. Nice beer. Medium body, nice carbo.

Draft. Cuivrée-ambrée au col blanc assez fin qui s’estompe assez rapidement. Arôme présente un bouquet qui surprend avec une signature très belge et assez unique. Je note une influence conséquente de fruits noirs; entre prune et raisin sec, suivi par un sucré et malt qui ajoute une certaine complexité. Rétro-nasal offre une influence subtile rappelant un pomme-caramel. Palais est malté, caramel, léger sucré sur un petit ester fruité et une levure signature très belge, possible Val-Dieu? L’amertume se ressent dans l’usage modéré de malt pâles-cara qui laissent néanmoins percer un profil biscuité agréable agrémenté par un fruité noir de prune, date et raisin. Le fini oscille sur des notes herbacées pour une amertume des houblons qui arrive en fin de bouche et donne une pointe subtile de citronné houblon-neutre. Quoique restant dans une influence typiquement belge, cette bière à l’avantage de se distinguer des autres nouvelles par une signature assez unique.
