A classy IPA with a bitter backbone and a hint of crystal malts. Pigs finishes dry, but not after a beautifully dank and fruity hop assault. Danger beer.

(Draft at BrewDog Kungsholmen, Stockholm, 4 July 2025) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, pine needles, white bread and a balanced citric/piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Classic WCIPA. Nice one.

Poured hazy and light orange in color.
Oink oink. Can date 20.01.25. Resiny hops, oranges, bitterness, malts and nettles. Dryish finish. Could be more bitter. Still enjoying this one.

Can. Near clear burnished gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, soft and mildly dry, modest fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a ripe wheaty sweetness. Soft cooling pine. Soft ripe citrus, some candy fruits. Light finish. Lame West Coast affair. Has nothing about it that brings any excitement or freshness. A 60% drain pour.

Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, crisp malts, light perfume, melon, light pine dusting.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close splashed with juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
Decent clean drinking IPA.

440ml can from Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, light toffee. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, fresh, herbal, light toffee, light citrus, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Die Optik zeigt sich glänzend goldgelb. Im Duft sehr fruchtig, grasig bis hanfig und leicht harzig. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, fruchtig-herb und grasig bis leicht harzig. Körper mit mäßiger Fülle, feiner, weicher Rezenz, samtiger Textur und angenehmer Trockenheit. Geschmacklich und aromatisch darf man sich über ein fruchtig-herbes, grasig-harziges Bier freuen. Bezeichnend ist ein sehr gutes Spiel aus Süße und Bittere.
