Birra dal colore ambrato, malto caramello e luppolatura imponente. Al primo sorso bevuta caratterizzata dai malti, con un esplosione di luppoli che a piccoli passi invade il palato. Complessa, ma allo stesso tempo da bere senza fine.

17/04 A 0.75 l bottle, courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured hazy orange body with medium sized ivory head. Very nice elderflower and honey malt aroma with lot of citrus hops. Somewhat spicy as well. Peppery, fine hoppy flavor, bitter but well balanced with vanilla malts and chalky yeast, to be smooth on palate. Quite full in body for relatively modest ABV. Finish was long, pleasant sweetish and slightly bitter. Really a pleasant Belgian ale.

Bottled 750ml. -from La Rinascente, Milano. Murky amber coloured, medium to big sized pale beige head, fresh hoppy nose. Moderate malty, flowery hoppy and mild citrusy with notes of elder in the finish. Pleasant, aromatic and enjoyable brew, and one of the best Italian beersthat I’ve tried in past few years.

Ogi’s. "La 9" and has 6.5% alcohol. Umm... What? Poured a murky amber-brown body with a big, fluffy nice off white head that went away relatively slowly. Nice, really fresh notes of elderflower and maltiness, with very light soapy notes, aroma hops, some orange. Fresh taste again, apricot, orange rind, nicely and very much aromatic, peach juice, slightly lactic, quite lovely and enjoyable - these last 3 Italian beers were definitely a nice surprise, though I’m sure that Ogi paid quite a lot for them.

11/04/2013 La Tana (handpump). Ambrata, miele, limpida, schiuma biancastra sporca abbondante e persistente. Al naso sentori di malto e luppolo, note erbacee. In bocca è un po’ confusa, l’attacco è dolciastro, maltato, il finale è amaro ma non così secco come mi sarei aspettato. Corpo medio, carbonazione soft. Un po’ caotica e confusionaria.

Bottle at marea in NYC. Pours hazy deep orange with decent sized fluffy head. Nose of malt and bread. Tastes bready, spicy of pepper and coriander, decent amount of citrus hops, caramel, grass, and light banana. It’s dry on finish and paired well my seafood feast.

Apple, dried leaves, and a little alcohol on the nose. Cloudy copper, no head. Dried leaves, oily rose petals, and lemon zest flavor. A bit like potpourri.
