Bottle picked up directly from the Faust brewery webshop, Miltenberg. Consumed at home Easter Sunday 4th April 2021, sat outside after a housework blitz and some gardening (planting Gooseberries, Rhubard, Heidelberries), about to start cooking 'stuffed aubergine rolls with melting mozzarella'. We're listening to Feist - Pleasure. I tried to link the beer with the music, name similarity. Pours light yellowy gold with a large frothy white head. Wow so much banana, soft moutheel, vanilla, not so much clove. Lovely wheat beer, this is a cracker.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours lightly hazy deep orangey gold with a frothy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, honeyed cereal, grainy, cakey, ripe banana, warming spice, clove rock and candy cane. The taste is sweet upfront, then bready, cereal, ripe banana, green banana skin, grainy, twist of citrus, cakey malts, clove rock, some spice with a grainy, spicy finish. Medium body and low to moderate carbonation. Sits a bit heavy with that sweetness. An average sort of hefe.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy orange. Off white head. Nose - slightly astringent malt and just a hint of the banana and spice. Taste - banana this time, lightly burnt toast. Palate - light to medium bodied. Dry, lightly astringent finish. Overall - so so.

Aus der Flasche 2015-12 getrunken. Ein typisches Weizen mit feiner Hefenote.

Pours gold from the bottle, hazy at first but soon clearing. Tall, foamy head. Aroma is banana, hints of rubbery wet suit. Taste is sweet up front, trends towards tartness at the finish, otherwise unremarkable. Body is light to medium, carbonation is mild. The beer goes through the motions but this is an entirely unremarkable offering.

Hazy gold, huge white dense head. Subtle fruity esters dominate the aroma. Wheat. Slightly phenolic. Light body. Sourish yeasty taste accompanied by bready notes and soft phenols. Low bitterness. Unusual. Refreshing.

Boca 0,5L...u mirisu ima banane međutim u okusu i ne baš, dosta se osjete žitarice...nije ni loše a nije ni bogzna šta..

[backlog] 10-04-16 / bottle. Quite good weizen. Typical yeasty and banana aroma. Smooth texture. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 3.25/5
