Bottle at Cantillon. Pale clear yellow poor with no head. Vinous bouquet. Low carbonation, tart and acidic with a huge vinegar presence and vinous lowlights. Good body and mouthfeel.

Bottle at the Loon Factory. 2024 version. Pours a slightly lifeless hazed ginger gold. Any head is short lived. Nose has Anderlecht funk in spades. Tart sharp grape. Then there’s some sweet raisin like notes. Lots of sweaty oak. Pretty unusual. Taste is light tart with a distinct sweetness on the lips. Pretty sticky actually. Feels a tad flat overall. Light tart finish. Tasty gear but perhaps it’s lacking some time sat to liven up.

Bottle at Cantillon, 11th September 2025. Things the version bottled January 2024. Pours a light straw colour, slightly pink and flat. Aroma is musty, grapes, earthy, minerals, tart fruit. Taste is complex, tart fruits, lots of wood, dry, musty; grapes, delicate mouth feel, soft with a long tart and pleasing linger in the finish

2022 version. Pours unclear blonde, no real head. Scent is mild, funky, raw brett. Taste is full, intense, dried grapes, very aromatic and lovely. Mild acidity. Woody. Lovely !

2024 vintage. 750mL bottle at La Fruitière, pours a clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma has a floral white wine character, moderate funk, and a touch of acidity. Flavour is super dry and musty, with white grape must, plenty of bitterness, light-to-moderate funk, and some dirty barnyard notes. Not my favourite Cantillon — drier and dirtier than usual. Still very good.

[2024 Vintage] 750mL bottle at La Fruitiere. Pours clear gold with a white head. Lots of musty barnyard funk on the nose. Flavour has musty, damp sheep-like funk, a fair amount of bitterness. Great funk character, not as big as fan of the bitterness.

Bottle thanks to Mike. Pours a hazy gold with small white head. The aroma is strong wood, funk, floral, musty. Subtle, light funk, wood, dry, really enjoyed this.
