Bottle from who knows where. Golden with a good head. Very mild nose, light grain. Flavor is uninspired, a bit mineral, thin body and altogether a bit boring.

Optisch helles Gold, behäbige Perlung. In der Nase schön getreidig. Im Trunk spritzig, Getreide, würzig, leichte Süße mittig, schöner Abgang. Ganz saubere Komposition, süffig, sehr lecker.

500ml bottle [as Oberbräu Hell]. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, firm, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Weak, slightly strange, sweet-ish floral, grainy aroma, a touch of hundreds and thousands and straw. Taste is grainy, slightly strawy, the sweet-ish floral touch of hundreds and thousands is present as well, whiffs of burnt straw. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. A bit strange, minimally unpleasant - nope.

Flascherl (als Oberbräu Hell): Clear golden with a greenish sheen, quite stable medium-sized white head, grassy-grainy and partly strawy nose with citrussy traces; mild sweetish flavour, low bitterness, light to medium bodied, at least soft; mild but distinctive citrussy trade in the grainy-strawy finish. Tame, but quite well drinkable...
