500ml can hand delivered by Frau Eva returning from her autumn trip to Budapest. Initial huge and densely head, with fawn coloured foam. Deep, ruby beauty in body appearance. Fragile, spotty lacework on the glass. Mild aroma of chocolate malts added by an herbal touch. Fine transition from aroma to the taste of grainy chocolate mixed with dark fruits. Mid-lived finish of dry chocolate malts. Surprisingly easy to drink. Quite joyful, without being outstanding (at home, Tromsø 02.10.2009).

Can at GBBF. Courtesy of Rob The CanMan, thanks. Dark ruby color, medium-sized beige head, some lace. Chocolate and dark toffee in the nose. Caramelly with a bit hoppy and alcoholic background. Lingering toffee-alcohol in the aftertaste. Suprisingly good bock from Gösser.

50cl bottle in Budapest, Hungary. pours dark brown, thick beige head. aroma is malty, some chocolate that becomes more prominent in the nose as the beer warmed up. taste, some dark fruits, caramel malts, brown sugar, in the mix, some floral hops. Beer gets better with some outside temp. exposure. Simple; highly drinkable and better than anything else I had in Hungary.
