Mörkt gyllenfärgad klar vätska med medelhögt krämigt skum. Stor kropp med rejäl söta maltiga smaker som balanseras av en medelstor kryddig beska. Lite bränd brödskorpa, honung och äppelkompott. Rustik och god

Bottle. Xmas gift from the missus. Clear amber. Very decent just off white foam. Nose has a bit of fruited tea loaf. Soft caramel. Nicely vinous and fruity. Taste is well balanced bittersweet. Smooth and full. Fruity vinous finish. Great stuff.

Bottle, slightly past BB date. Red amber, golden head. Honeyish, a bit oxidized. Medium full grain and honey base, smoke/dust, light juiciness, grassy and herbal hops, aged a bit of course but surprisingly fresh in the finish.

Bottle. Clear amber color with off-white head. Aroma is caramel, earthy, a bit cardboard (though the bottle isn't fresh). Taste is earthy, nutty, mildly herbal and spicy. Mineraly, chalky-ish mouthfeel, medium spark in the carbonation. Okay.

Bottle. Clear amber/copper with an ok white head. Aroma of grains, malts with some spicy and earthy hops. Taste of grains, straw, malts, old butter and undefined fruits. Slightly sweet and spicy. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Ok by Eschenbacher‘s (admittedly low) standards.
