Old bottle (5+ years old). Clear brown color with a red hue. Creamy beige head, light beige. Aroma’s: caramel, dried fruit, old/oxidized. Retronasal it’s old, port, dried fruit, sweet. Flavor is moderate sweet, with some fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Long finish with no new flavors. Still drinkable, but clearly old.

Bottled (BB 04/2010). Courtesy of bierkoning, thanks Edo! Bright red color, small off-white head. Cardboard, caramel and berries in the nose. Caramel, sweet maltyness, light grassy hoppyness. Simple palate, a bit plain after Alfa and Budels Echts.

Bottled. Copper colour with small beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, some fruits as well as quite bready and earthy. Flavour is raisins and also quite much of the same as in the aroma. Much more sweet than Alfa or Budels Echt 2009.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Malty bready flowery aroma. Malty sweet flavorwith cake dough, hints of cinnamon and mango and a soft but persistant flowery hopbitterness. Sticky mouthfeel. If this is a märzen it is an oversweet one.

Bottled. Clear amber color, medium slight off-white head. Aroma of toasty malt indeed, german hop, slight wurzig german style, hint of grain. Slight sweet taste, caramel, toasty. Light bitter. Not that bad i guess.
