Keg at the hanging bat. Pours clear golden orange, nose is yeasty toffee, spiced, floral, taste is sweet, citrus, belgian spice, actually become more a typical American Ipa as it warms, belgian characteristics replaced by crystal malt.

From tap at De Koffer, Groningen. Aroma is fruity and hoppy, quite floral, but perfumed actually, touch of yeast, bit bready malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Okay beer, has a bit of a filtered look and taste despite the use of Belgian yeast. A bit too perfumed for my taste.

Can, smallish head, light cloudy palish orange colour, aroma of citrus, fruit ,belgian yeast and spiciness which quickly become stronger, fruity with a bit of alcohol, light to medium herbal bitterness, medium sweetness. Ok, nothing too exciting.

Can. An almost clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream head. Smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Hops bring a nice smooth pine. The Belgo yeast makes the fruity hop aspects of Jaipur more complex and widespread, there is also a touch of bretty savoury going on. Light semi dry finish. Yeah, I am digging this a bit more than normal Jaipur and certainly more than the clunky Double Jaipur. A fine fruity IPA.

Thin beige head on light pale golden body. Punchy aroma of confectionery & sweet tropical fruit. Medium bodied soft & cloying. Bitter citrus, grapefruit, pithy & bubble gum tastes with a peppery finish. Different & tasty.

On tap at Haand Festival. A crystal clear golden colored beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Piney, grapefruity aroma with hints of pale malts, and a distinct touch of fruityness and spicyness from the yeast. It’s dry and full-bodied on the palate, nicely carbonated and with a pleasant bitterness. Pale malts in the back of the flavor, piney, grapefruity hops up front and some peppery yeast notes chiming in. I’d actually expect the beer to be more on the Belgian side, but it’s sure a fine one, sort of saison-ish as well as being an IPA. 160528
