Keg at CBC Clerko, 10/08/16. Very lightly hazed yellow with a decent off white head. Nose is orange pith, citric tinged straw, Belgian yeast esters, light candyfloss. Taste comprises melon, tangerine, orange pith, light farmy notes, yeast esters, lemon rind, soft bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spattering of hop bitterness. Ok stuff but prefer the base beer.

Keg at Craft Clerkenwell. The aroma is spicy, straw, bread, ginger, cracker, minerals and lemongrass. The taste is crisp, bitter, spicy, straw, grassy, pear, melon, melon, cracker, alcohol hit and straw with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. The Belgian yeast distracts form the base beer in my opinion. Overall OK anyhow.

Keg at CBC Clerks. Pours clear yellow-gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy, tight white head. The nose has crisp biscuit, lemon peel, yeast. Medium sweet flavour subtle hoppy dankness, melon, pale bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, with some rindy citrus, mild Belgian yeast, melon, pithy tangerine. Enjoyable gear.

Sampled @ Craft Clerkenwell. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, citrus, yeast indeed. Decent to medium body, medium carbonation. Ok. Don’t like the Belgian yeast.

On tap at Craft Clerkenwell. Clear gold lasting white head. Yes some Belgian peach esters no doubt. Dry. I love the regular Halcyon. The peach sorbet aroma and flavour over take the regular Halcyon flavour and character and the carbonic sting on the finish merges with the bitterness. I mean it’s a good dry bitter inperial ipa but the carbonation is too intense. Still a good beer. Good

Tap. Hallamshire House, Sheffield. Clear, pale gold. Film of sticky, white head. Nose has pineapple. White grape. Distinctive, bready, spicy yeast. Notes of spirit or fuel. Pretty odd, but it works for me. Taste is spicy, yeasty sweet, before a juicy, hop bitterness kicks in. Clean mouthfeel. Drinks under the ABV. Finish gets oily, hoppy bitter. Liked this take on one of my go to beers.

A very tasty and refreshing ale.
Clear pale yellow color with a fine frothy white head. Nice intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness with a pleasant acidity. Yeast, citric, malty and fruity flavor.
