Draft sample @ Haand fest ’16, Drammen. Shared with the Norwegian tasting crew.

Draft @ Bar Dynamo. Clear golden, little white head. Nose is massive dank hops, very juicy, big citrus, low cat piss hops. Taste is milky yeast upfront, luckily it doesn’t dominate too much, quickly you get massive dank citrus, juicy hops, touch cat piss, finish is a bit more milky yeast. Body is yeast, finish is rather bitter. Mmmm,… I still don’t get really get the idea of making USA-style IPA’s with Belgian yeast, the hops are wonderful here, the yeast is a bit too dominating as expected. Overall the hops are great, yeast is low enough for the whole to remain enjoyable. It is interesting but it fares better without the yeast. Still far better than expected mainly due to the massive hops & the yeast luckily being restraint enough.
