On tap at Christian Firtal Pale Ale Festival. Golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with citrus hops and spicy Belgian notes. Sweetish fruity and spicy flavour with a solid bitter finish. Good beer, but the Belgian yeast doesn’t do much good for it.

Keg at the 4th birthday. Clear yellow golden colours pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is dank lemon, wet bop, diesel, earthy hop. Little phenol on the nose as well . flavour is composed of earthy pale grains. Semi sweet earthy hobey, subdued Belgian yeast, hint of lemon. Rubber. Plaate is semi sweet. Clean, semi crisp. Highish carbonation.

Keg at Cotteridge Wines Tasting Room, Cotteridge, Birmingham, Sunday 3rd January 2016 Golden orange in colour with a hoppy and light spicy nose. The spice showing more in the mouth as it dampens any thought that this is going to a be a similar robust hoppy beer like the regular version. The malt shows a little more here, but the spice really does add an interesting twist and whilst the hops are muted they do show it just takes them a little longer to assert themselves. I only had a small sample as I was driving but I enjoyed this. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Draft at IMBC 2015. Hazy golden color, white head. Aroma of dusty spiced pineapple. Taste is doughy, as fruity as the original, maybe more earthy. Interesting, good choice for a festival.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Clear gold body, thick white head. Nose is doughy, lots of tropical stuff going on, a bit like a pineapple donut - not that I’ve ever had one of them. Taste is loads of sweet syrupy tropicals, a clean piney hit at the end, with the yeast carrying the breadiness through to the taste. Thick and robust in the mouthfeel, all over the place but very nice.
