2011 version, 6,4% @Pikkulintu. BBE 09/2014. Poured black with a brown head. Strong coffee and nutty aroma. Flavor is espresso, milk chocolate and roastedness. Dry finish. Maybe bit too much coffee to be really enjoyable.

330ml bottle @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki

2011 version - Pours dark, almost blackish brown with a small head. Aroma has notes of roasted malts, earthy notes and filtered coffee. Taste is malty and slightly roasty and fruity with mild notes of espresso, coffee and ash. Finish is smooth and has hints of chocolate. Okay, a bit unbalanced coffee stout.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. 2011 version. Pours black with a small light brown head that leaves a trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is dominated by coffee with a slight acidity to it. There’s also a smell of roasted malts and some subtle hints of chocolate. Taste is slightly sweet with lots of coffee, rye bread and cacao. Finish is sweet and bitter with hints of bitter chocolate. I feel that the coffee taste is more similar to coffee grounds than coffee and that it’s a bit too sweet but it’s still a pretty enjoyable and good beer.

Stout brewed with Rwanda fair trade coffee. Soft semi dry palate. Not too dry or bitter. Sourish - porter like malt with a nice touch of roasty coffee. Not the greatest coffee stout but decent.

Bottle, kindly shared by abemorsten. ABV is 6%. Black colour, moderate to low beige head. Pleasant and harmonious aroma of coffee, chocolate and dark dried fruits, hints of oak. Flavour of coffee without being too "heavy", pleasant to drink (but demands that you like coffee). A very enjoyable beer.

Bottle: Poured a black color stout with a medium light dirty brown color head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of dry coffee notes with a proper amount of roasted malt notes makes this quiet enjoyable. Taste is also a well balance mix between some dry coffee notes with some roasted malt with a light bitter finish. Body is lighter then average with good carbonation. Well done with great drinkability factor and the right amount of coffee; a fuller body would have provided more enjoyment thought.
