On tap at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Served too warm, but I should not complain, as it was a free sample. Deep golden colour, huge white head. Floral and mild hops in both aroma and flavour. Drinkable, but not remarkable.

10/11/11/11/7/11

Clear orange with a white head. Aroma is malty and moderate hoppy - grapefruit and orange. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Dry finish with a sharp bitterness. Much better than the original Gækkebryg. Why on earth didn’t they chage the name when they changed the recipe? 110311

bottle from trade with faroeviking. bbf 10-mar-2010, tasted 5-sep-2010 so somewhat past the bbf date. hazy light brown, smooth offwhite head. sweet mild caramelly and slightly flowery aroma, flavor is caramel, flowery hops, very faint oxidation. palate is very smooth. overall a mild beer alc. wise, but with lots of taste anyway, reminds me most of an english ipa or bitter, as the hops are quite bitter. good brew. good full taste for a relatively low ABV.

Slightly hazy golden with a big and long lasting white head. Aroma has bubblegum, fruit, herbs and a minerally touch, with a hint of bready malts. Strong fruity hop flavour, with more character than straight up Nelson Sauvin. Quite high bitterness. Tasty and drinkable. Delicious!
