Bottle from Irma, Copenhagen. Hazy golden amber colour, with a small white head. Taste and Aroma is fruity, yeasty bready sweet malts, with a fruity floral overlay. Second IPA of the night that is indeed only slightly characteristic of the style but this one is nonetheless ok/average but nothing special.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 26.01.2013
Aroma has metal, some grainy malt and hay – feels like a German lager. Flavour has bready malt, some old hops, gooseberry bush and hints of mint. Not an IPA in any way. Like a too old pale ale with made with Citra.

Bottle @ Brugsen. Pours hazy yellow with a small head and lacings. Melon, grass, peach, flowers and a whiff of metal. Medium bodied. Dry and rough bitter end. Surprisingly Not infected.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour, small slightly off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, bready and sweet malts along with some spruce and mild alctic notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, bready malts along with some crystal and earthy notes as well. Ends quite "flat to the ground" without a real aftertaste.

50cl Bottle from a supermarket in Copenhagen. Clear orange colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, grainy, candy, syrup, like a crappy lager actually. Flavour is medium sweet, candy, syrup, light bitterness, grainy finish. Light bodied. Shitty beer, and no IPA at all.

Bottle. Unclear, golden in color and with an off-white head leaving some lacings. Fruity, pale malty nose with some pine cones and a faint touch of milk. Medium body, nice carbonation, dry enough. Malts, some sweetness and citrus peel in the flavor. Lacks a bit on bitterness, both initially and in the end. Well, not my favorite IPA in any way, but it’s an honest beer, and at least it’s not sour....yet. 120330

Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel and moderate hoppy - grapefruit and orange. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and bitter finish. I’m no fan of the Næsgaarden series but this one is actually decent. 200110

Hazy amber color; small head. The aroma is by all means not hoppy, there is instead mild nuts, caramel and dirty water. There is a dry caramel flavor, correct body structure; the bitterness is a bit biscuity and nutty, and it seems sweeter in the end. Correct bitterness level.
What’s the purpose of announcing "single hop India Pale Ale" on the label, if there is no mention about the hop variety?
Drinkable.
