Tried at the Speedwell Inn, Staveley. Pale yellow gold colour with a thick white head. Aroma light malt, grain, and slight fruity hops. Taste mid sweet. Decent English lager in the Czech style.

On tap at the Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Light gold, clear, gently carbonated. Gentle cereal and circus aroma. Taste is sweet and spicy, with almost a gingery bite. Medium to long bittersweet finish. An unfortunate cardboardy note mars the aftertaste somewhat. A competent but by no means outstanding Pilsener.

Clear, yellow, fizzy. Aroma has a bit of yeastiness and a touch of zest. Flavour is quite full for a lager.

Keg tap at the Arkwright Arms, Duckmanton J29A M1, 06/10/13. Clear pale blond with a good sized white head. Nose is toasty malt, soft bread dough, light caramel, straw. Taste comprises light bready malts, grass, corn, cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitter tones in the finish. Decent enough pils.

On keg Arkwright Arms - As far as pilsener / lagers go, this is a good one. A good clear gold body, solid white foamy head, loads of lines of carbonation. A nice clean bite of cereal, and no nasty after stuff. I like this, quite a bit.

Tap at CPK. Pours clear yellow with a fine, fizzy head. Sweet, grainy aroma. Flavor is malty with caramel and light fruit. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with delicate bitterness and some mild booze. An interesting and pretty good brew.
