Big pounder can for 3$. Smell is slight BO with forward volatile flowery hops. Big hazy pour with lots of foamy white head. Pretty good co2 on the tongue for a hoppy brew. A little rubbery on the uptake on the taste buds. Floats into and out of IPA territory continually. Strong up front hop bitterness. A strong weird turpentine fruit feeling in there someplace. Difficult in the middle but not cloying. A strange hoppy nastiness so common with on style IPA. This stuff is pretty strong and rather thick for an APA. LH IPA? Just asking. Yes, near the end that green grapefruit rind citrus thing starts kicking in. At least there is enough in this 16 oz can to give you a little buzz for the bitterness needed to endure. Overall not too bad for a strong APA, could use a few more manners if it wants you to call it an APA.

16 oz. can purchased at The Mansion. Pours a cloudy gold color with a large off white head and great retention. Decent lacing. Lots of sediment. Old can? Juicy hops aroma. Strong bitter hops flavor with a hint of citrus and a slightly harsh boozy finish. Tastes more like an IPA to me. Paid $2 a can = $1.95 too much.

Ridiculously hazy straw golden coloured body with a very large, fluffly tan head, about three centimetres tall that leaves a very ugly soapy lace on the sides. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, light resin and pineapples with some malt and fructose noticeable. Medium-bodied; Rich citrusey and tropically fruit flavours show through, with a lot of dry malt and grassiness, a few seconds later, but both of those profiles give way to some sugars near the end from tropical fruits. Aftertaste is very complex and shows nice characteristics - from dry grassy to herbal notes to the tropical and citrus fruits and a soft & sweet flavour of resin, pineapple and mangoes. Overall, a very nice beer, especially for the style, although I'd say this is much closer to a 'true' New England [pure] IPA - especially since it's actually from New England - than any APA I've had and a lot of 'New England' IPAs that state that on the label and are far from delivering. Great to sample, even a few months old, this one is worth searching out for! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Krisp Market (BestDamnBeerShop) in San Diego, California on 31-January-2020 for US$3,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 29-May-2020.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, herbs, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can. Very hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, passionfruit, hay. Body is light and a bit chalky. Moderate carbonation. Sweet and fruity with nice passionfruit and a fair bit of citrus. Medium bitter finish with some lime leaf creeping in at the end too. Reservations about the mouthfeel and its strength for what it offers, but it's pretty tasty.
