From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016 - Yellow session. Light unclear yellow golden color with white to off white head. Yeasty and light hoppy aroma, funky, dusty, light spicy, citrusy fruity. Sweet, bitter and light acidic taste like aroma. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.

75 cl bottle. cloudy yellow, small white head. very nice dry slightly woody slightly belgian yeasty aroma. very faint citrussy note too. The beer is distinctly more citrussy and soursh than your ordinary saison, the sourness is smooth and pleasant, nearly no off flavors. imagine half lambic half saison, then this is sort of a little bit like that. compared to nearly every other second generation (non belgian) wild beer out there, this one stands out as being very smooth and pleasant.

Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a large pure white foamy head with some retention and limited lacing. Aroma of light tart notes with some light flora cereal notes is pretty pleasant. Taste is a mix between some delicate rustic malt notes with light tart notes and green apple notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Easily drinkable with loads of subtle flavours and a delicate ending.

75cl merci Rich. 1st blend, bottled 05/30/2014.
