Hazy blond colour, white foam. Light sweet, a bit citrussy, hoppy bitter finish. Enjoyable tripel.

Backlog. 50 cl bottle, enjoyed in 2008 (8%). Dark blonde color. Uneven white head.. Aroma’s of caramel and (sweet) fruits. Flavor is lightly sweet with some acidity from the CO2. Medium bodied. Slightly dry finish, moderate bitter with hints of grainy malt. Had this right after the Emeilsse Blonde which was hardly different. Good nonetheless.

Bottled. Amber color, hazy. Flowery, somewhat perfumed aroma with pear. Sweet, alcoholic flavor, perfumed with some notes of cologne. Hints of grapes. Slightly disappointing, considering the excellent beers this brewery has produced.

Bottle, 8.5%. Weak fruity aroma. Muddy light brown colour. The flavour has a little fruit, a little spice, coriander, and some yeast. Probably better with less yeast.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy orange color with an off white head. Aroma is citrus fruit and light malt. Taste is metallic with citrus fruit and alcohol bitterness on the tongue. Fruit finish remains after the alcohol subsides.

Draught Dark orange with small orangeish head, some lace. Fruity, even cherry and strawberry aromas, coloured malts. Short malty-sweet & fruity, then bitter impression coming up, but finishing sweeter again, with noticeable alcohol. Medium bodied, less attenuation than most tripels. Sweet-fruity, but far from undeserving tripel. I rather like Emelisse beers.
