Bottle. Clear deep golden color with hardly any head. Aroma is honey, grains, melon. Taste is the same, a bit on the grainy side, sweetish finish, a touch noble hops. Low-ish carbonation.

Bräu z'Loh Heller Bock, Flasche von Ambrosetti. - Kupfergold, blank. Prima! (1.2.2022.)

Bottle picked up from Appel Getränkemarkt, Moosburg and consumed at home Sunday 7th February 2021 listening to Rolling Coastal Blackouts Fever - Sideways to Italy, about to prepare Pasta this evening for part 2 of our Italian weekend. Deep gold with a white head and good clarity. Malt forward but with a flinty edge, bitterness creeps up revealing itself to be surprisingly bitter. Alcohol well hidden. Good, I like this.

Bottle, Getränke Oase. Deep golden, low lace. Sticky sweet honey and fruit nose. Medium body, sweet taffy, light bublegum, a bit fruit, a few minerals and herbal hops. Earthy retronasal.

Clear golden/amber. Aroma is starchy a bit dusty malt some bonbon and caramel with a whiff of fresh citricnotes. Taste is sour with a bitter base and a little malty sweet touch. Sourness and bitterness quite take the control and its rather hasrh. Medium drinkable. Ok.

Vintage 2015 bottle, 50cl. Pours clear golden colour with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mild sweet malt, a bit grainy, straw. Taste of mild sweet malt, yellow fruits, straw, hints of melon, nice!

Euro2-Bottle (Ottos Mops hopst fort):Clear, pale golden to golden, medium-sized stable and almost creamy white head; mild nearly dry grainy nose with subdued aromas of cardboard or even vegetables underneath, hops barely detectable; moderate to - almost - solid sweetish-bitter flavour, medium bodied, crunchy MF; lingering honeyish and grassy-bitter finish. Disappointing aroma, but all in all a pleasant Bock...

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and firm medium-sized foamy head. Slightly grainy pale malty aroma with notes of white bread, traces of honey and shades of flowery hops. Sweet and mildly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a slightly crisp carbonation. Delicately bready and slightly honey-ish malty base with a mildly drying, slightly flowery and spicy hoppy counterpart; sweet malty and slightly bitter hoppy finish. Decent. 01.VI.16

*Old rating. Best before 04.2011. Many thanks to Kevnic2008 for this bottle. Malty grainy, not too intense with bitter hints. Sweetish malty. Grainy bitter aftertaste. A bit unround but typical. The bitterness is a bit neutral. Somehow unround.
