From Tap - black pour with beige head. Aroma and taste is roasted and sweet malty with notes of cocoa, caramel, some liquorice, wooden Aquavit infused nuances, slick mouthfeel, nice and complex on the palate, lovely.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Batch 1374. Svart. Høyt mokkafarget skum som daler sakte og etterlater pene filigranser. God sjokoladearoma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken vidunderlig sammensatt av det beste i akevitt- og porterverdenen. Litt krydder men også hint av sjokolade & lakris. Lett tørr ettersmak.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Patchy, bubbly, low, fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Deep black body, with a brownish tint. Very aromatic with black malts, liquorice and molasses, integrated alcohol. Rich and comprehensive taste character of dark vanilla, chocolate and dark fruits. Dark malty bitterness to a lingering ending warming down the throat. Velvety mouth feel. Full bodied. Lovely sipper on a Saturday eve (Tromsø 19.03.2016).

Nice light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish roasted, weeds, grass, licorice, aquavit, oak, dark malts, minerals, bark, dark sugar, anise, sour coffee. Taste is slightly sour-ish mineraly, weeds, minerals, aquavit, oak, licorice, dark malts, bark, grass, burnt caramel, sour coffee, anise. Medium bitterness, slightly dry boozy and mineraly mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Dark drown to black colored, thick, almost no tan head, non lasting. Aroma is of roasted malt, dark chocolate, herbal schnapps. Taste is medium+ sweet chocolate, dark chocolate and roasted malt, herbal liqueur, medium- bitterness, dry roasty finish, bit boozy, strong warmth. Full bodied, flat carbonation, thick and creamy. Taste follows this, very smooth and dense.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes smooth, roasty-bitter, quite dry, wooden, with coffee, liquorice, some cocoa.
