Cask, gravity at Harbury Beer Festival, Harbury, Warwickshire, 03.09.11 Not a bad beer, though it is far too sweet with lashings of watery sweet marmalade. A nice enough beer that could have been so much better. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Little cloudy deep yellow to orange beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, it adhesive. Aroma: lots of very ripe lemon, cheese. MF: little carbon, bit syrupy texture, full body. Taste: ripe lemons, pretty sweet malty, grapefruit. Aftertaste: citrus, pineapple, bit cheesy, bitter hops. Wouldn't call this an IPA, but it's pretty interesting for sure!

Cask at Reading beerfest. A golden coloured ale with a slight head. Strange musty smelling beer. Plenty of hops but also a bittersweet taste. A really unique tasting beer, it was quite good but I won’t seek it out again. This one seems like an experiment that has not really worked.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 09. Very hazy gold, thin disappeaaring head. When first poured it smelled of urine, which settles down to blue cheese. Now the blue cheese does run through it to its detriment. Inhibits the hop aroma coming through. Yes it’s hoppy, but more acidic on tongue hoppy than flavoursome/bitter hoppy. Copared t the Jaipur I had beofre it, not in the same league. Interesting though.
