Creamy tan head on a copper coloured still body - looks great. Dark chocolate, malt & demerara tastes. Nice pint!

A decent 80 shilling. Dry malt and enough fruit to mix it up without the sickly fruit that sometimes balances these out.

Cask, Central, St Andrews. Dark brown looks with a creamy off-white head. Roasted malt nose. Similar flavour with notes of brown sugar and dark fruit.. Slightly thin. Alright but not not really my thing.

Bottle from Dunnottar Wines. It pours deep amber-brown with a medium off-white head. The nose is earth, dirt, toast cocoa and over-ripe fruit. The taste is watery, dirt, wood, leather, mouldiness, toast and some astringency with a very dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. Body is too thin. Watery and absent of flavour. Not good.
