Cask sampled @ St. Arnolds Day Beer Festival 2013, The Old Wine Vaults, Faversham. Deep golden to light amber body with a small, lacing off-white head. Aroma is light toasted, malt and fruit. Flavor is smooth malty, bread, some caramel, fruity and moderate bitterness. Fine and balanced body, a bit short in aftertaste. A fine bitter for cask treatment.

Cask at the George - Littlehampton. Pours clear, copper-gold with a creamy white head. Nose of toasted malts and creamy bread. Light to medium sweet flavor with sugary bread, some toasted grass, lightly astringent leady bitterness, faint ripe fruits. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild dry leaf finish, hints of toasty caramel and bread, toasted sugars. So so.
