330 ml bottle. Pours a dull mahogany with no head. Aromas of dry oak, caramel and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional raisins and a bit of alcohol. More of a British Barley Wine to me. Good.

Hazy amber brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Light smooth palate, a modest dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light but flavoursome malts, toffee caramel and cream, none of it that sweet. Some savoury wet wood and rich ripe fruity laden whiskey, slightly bitter. Semi dry finish leaves a bitterish spicy linger. Uncompromising ba barleywine.

On tap @Mashroom (Rome).
