22 oz. Bottle, thanks to willrunforbeer! 2015 vintage. Color is dark brown with still some carbonation. Aroma and flavors are the same. Some caramel, molasses, toffee and weak raisin. Pretty good considering how old it is.

660mL bottled 10/25/15, shared by Willrunforbeer on 10/19/24. Thanks, Brian! Clear amber-caramel. Small, tan head to ring. Fruity, English yeast with mild oak. Quite nice shape for 9 years old. So much round, red fruit, mild caramel and raisin. Very old ale. Wow! Is this 9 years old?? Would believe this is one or two years old. Still hops in here?! Gently bitter with excellent malt and attenuation. Oak is mellow, no tannin, round and helps dry. This is shocking how good condition this is.

Tap @ CBC2016. Pours clear brown with a small brown head. Aromas of oak, vanilla, malt, caramel. Taste is malty, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, light bitter finish.

Draught@CBC 2016 Red Session. Deep red colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sour wood, some lactose, mild spices as well as some berries. Flavour is fruity, floral, some lactic and red berries to it along with a nice sour/tart edge to it.

Bottle from a trade. Many thanks! Dark brown/black colour, beige foam. Nose of stone fruit (plums), raisins, bourbon, vanilla, cocoa. Sweet, caramel notes, bitter finish.

Draught. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Orange Brown colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter wonderfull flavor. Chocolate and Wood. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Aarhus. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich fruits, caramel, wood, malt, hops and has a sweet fruity and caramel finish.

[ As Cigar City The Dark Woods ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, molasses, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, cedar wood, molasses, caramel, wood, maple.
