Tap, 250ml, house beer at Det Lille Apotek in Copenhagen. Deep red-brown body, bright naked surface. The aroma and taste profile were partly ruined by being served far to cold. When it warms up a bit an aroma of sweet dark malts can be spotted. Slightly roasted taste of dark caramel added by herbs and toffee notes. Short ending. Very average and not exactly the right kind of aperitif (02.11.2011).

10/6/7/5/11/6

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 4.6%. Clear brown colour, big off-white head. Fairly nice aroma of toffee, caramel and biscuits. The flavour has also toffee and biscuit notes, not very sweet. Minimal hops, not very exciting, even for a brown ale.

Bottled. Clear dark reddish brown. Tutti frutti aroma. Sweet and fruity, light bodied with some sulphur and pineapple. Notes of lemon juice. Low bitterness. A surprisingly amateurish beer without much to recommend it for.

Bottle, 4.6%. Fruity aroma, citric green apples, roasted notes. Dark brown colour, small stable tan head. The flavour is quite subtle, a bit of fruitiness, hint of roasted malts. OK balanced, but not so interesting.

Brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is dry, caramel, malt, hop. Flavour is the same. Balanced, but very weak beer. Could be more daring.
