Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Clear gold with small white head. Taste of tangy citrus with some softer peach fruitiness and mineral quality. Good bitterness and great balance to it. I really enjoyed this one.

Slightly hazy pale gold with a frothy/bubbly white head and a slightly fruity nose with some subtle light malt too. Hoppy and slightly fruity with a soft, dry bitter finish

Handpull cask at the Kings Head. Mid- to dark gold, clear with a thin white head. Malty aroma with slightly sour oranges and musty notes. Full bittersweet taste peppered with hop character moving toward a bitter finish. Light-ish body. Not a lot to this one, but competent enough.

Cask at Ebenezers, Nantwich. Pours a hazy (almost cloudy) golden orange with minimal off-white head. Not much of an aroma, just some hints of floral hops. Hops are more to the fore in the mouth, where it is quite bitter with a creamy texture. Citrus comes through quite strongly too, alongside some traces of yeast, caramel and autumn fruits. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. This is OK but a bit nondescript.

Cask @ The Pub, Todmorden. Called Salopian Voodoo, but exactly the same pump clip as the Blackwater one other than the brewery name. Golden-blonde with a creamy-frothy head. Has a hoppy aroma and taste with an easy enough texture. It feels like there's some fruit flavour trying to break through.

Tap at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is dry yeast floral hop citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a buttery malt, crisp, fresh, dry floral hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at The Stockbridge Tap. Clear golden body with a tight white head. Good lacing. Aroma of cereal, plain crisps and dried leaves. Flavour of lemony hops, grass and straw. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Faint carbonation prickle. Simple and easy drinking.
