I actually really liked this one, but then I don't have much experience with heller bocks. Almost quite close to a tripel in vibe. Just enough booze and a touch of florals. Comes off with some mercury. Pours amber with good head and lacing. Slightly sweet finish, but not overbearing. Drank outside the Drink Drunk store at like 3 in the morning in Berlin listening to gangster rap.

A quite decent plain bock in my opinion. Nothing really fancy, but not bad either. You know what you get.
Fine clear golden body with an ok white head. Decent intensity in the aroma. Fine carbonation level. Easy to drink. Aslo a balanced sweetness (ok it is sweet – but not cloying). Fruity and quite malty flavor. No sticky alcohol coming up.

Bottle at LKS. It pours clear golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is hooker perfume, paint, oily, grainy, buttered white bread, toffee and popcorn. The taste is drying, hot, oily, paper, perfumed, pear, apple, melon, wet grass, damp leaves, honey and cheap white bread. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty hot and sweet. Pretty poor.

Bottle shared in Hackney - many thanks to Fergus. Pours clear, bright honey-gold with a creamy, white head. Papery notes in the nose, dried grains, cereal. Light-medium sweet flavour with crispy grains, biscuits, a little hay, toasted caramel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more grains, pale bread, dry and crispy cereal, hints of alcohol warmth. Not bad.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe: BBE Feb 2018. Poured into an old (pre 1989) Schultheiss glass (0.5 litre sleeve) at home on 20th Sep 2017 during a live random tasting session with myself, while on a virtual bar thread in the UK Forum. Clear golden body, pure white crown on top. Light malty aroma, sugary almost, sweet anyway (I know you can't really smell sweetness), slightly honey like. The taste is also sweet, my sweet tooth liking it, my true palate not so sure. A small packet of 'Twiglets' and some Brie saved the day and I ended up really enjoying this fairly one dimensional sweet beer.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Saccharine sweet aroma. Bright amber. No head. Visibly bubbly. Yuck! Initially got the honey syrupy sweetness. Then a more sour taste enters the fray, a sort of chemical sweetener gone wrong. The ABV comes through. Light bodied. Oily. Lively carbonation. Poured it away after a few mouthfulls.
