Delicious jellied fruit aromas blend perfectly with inviting roasted notes. The mouthfeel is succulent with dried fruit, malt and delicate hop bitterness. The finish is lingering and warm with fruit and malt notes.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and toffee, while the flavor is sweet with notes both of caramel, toffee, and bisquits, leading to a dry toffee finish.

Cask conditioned at the Lamb and Flag, Oxford on the Ratebeerian day around Oxford 09-02-08 Poured amber with small head. Malt on the aroma, slightly sharpish maltiness if you’ll pardon the unintentional pun (if that is a pun?) fruity and tangy in the mouth, I’m not that fussed if truth be known.

Gravity dispense at the Miners’ Arms Summer Beer Festival, St Werburgh’s Bristol 6/8/07. reddish-amber with a slight off-white head. some dark fruit and caramel on the aroma alongside some tired hops. The flavour was of toffee with a woody under tone. The finish was moderately bitter. A bit of a let down.

Cask (gravity dispense), White Cliffs Beer Festival, February 2005. Typical taste of Sharp’s if you have had Doom Bar or Cornish Coaster, but this obviously had more of an alcoholic kick. Very good strong bitter
