Natural raspberry flavors are added to our UFO Hefeweizen to create this beer. Consistent with the Hefeweizen style, this beer is unfiltered and cloudy with a solid foamy head. UFO R.A.Z. has a distinctive, hazy rose color. The scent of fresh raspberries hits the nose immediately, along with a subtle bready aroma from the wheat and yeast. The body is light and the unfiltered yeast provides a soft mouthfeel. The taste of the fruit compliments the beer nicely, neither overwhelms the other. There is a faint sweetness on the palate, which finishes cleanly in a semi-dry, tart finish. - See more at: http://www.harpoonbrewery.com/beer/96/ufo-r-a-z#sthash.ZVHloRZ3.dpuf

I actually enjoy this UFO more than the regular UFO hefeweizen. The scent of this beer is lovely, rich and fruity. The fruit flavor is nicely balanced with the yeasty flavor of the beer. Finishes smoothly. Quite tasty.

Overall Impression: Not a huge fan of this one. I think the raspberry flavring gave the original beer (which wasn't that great) an unneeded and unnatural sweetness.

Bottle at ABC beer tasting. Poured amber with a white head. Prominent raspberries in the aroma with a bit of tartness. Flavor has lots of raspberry, overwhelms the beer.

Pours a hazy cider into a shaker. Bright white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Raspberry aromas. Sweet raspberries and wheat. Like a watery wine cooler.

Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Cloudy light pink colour with lively carbonation. Yes , surprise surprise there is indeed raspberry in the aroma and flavour, but this was too sweet and saccharine for me. Very insipid and watery with a rather unpalatable artificial quality that is a straight up and down turn off.
