Natural raspberry flavors are added to our UFO Hefeweizen to create this beer. Consistent with the Hefeweizen style, this beer is unfiltered and cloudy with a solid foamy head. UFO R.A.Z. has a distinctive, hazy rose color. The scent of fresh raspberries hits the nose immediately, along with a subtle bready aroma from the wheat and yeast. The body is light and the unfiltered yeast provides a soft mouthfeel. The taste of the fruit compliments the beer nicely, neither overwhelms the other. There is a faint sweetness on the palate, which finishes cleanly in a semi-dry, tart finish. - See more at: http://www.harpoonbrewery.com/beer/96/ufo-r-a-z#sthash.ZVHloRZ3.dpuf

Bottle @ GBBF 08. Hazy orange color, raspberry nose. Sweet taste, slight sour. Artificial stuff.

Bottle picked up at Westholme Londis Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, consumed 10-08-08 Poured a light hazy pink with large head quite lovely raspberry aroma although it seemed maybe a little artificial I must confess to still being dragged in by it. Taste was simple, raspberry, little too sweet, some wheat uncomplicated and maybe not true to style but likeable nonetheless

Hazy pink in colour with a small pinky white head. Raspberry and slight hint of peach in the aroma but it is rather delicate and perfumed. A slight tart element can also be noticed. Rather tart at first with the sweetness coming later. The raspberry is noticeable in the taste but is not as strong as I expected. Not bad and quite refreshing on a hot day but it could be so much better.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. An unclear orange-red beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of raspberries. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of raspberries with a slightly artificial touch. It has a slight underlying acidity, is it the raspberries or the wheat I don’t know. The body is thin. Too much raspberry for me.

Bottle from Utobeer. Hazy pink colour with pink/white head. Raspberry aroma, raspberry and cereal in mouth. A bit simplistic, one dimensional, some kiddie sweet raspberry on end, but enjoyable enough.

Peach color, small creamy off-white head. Candy-like rasberry aroma. Fizzy carbonation. Dry rasberry flavor. Quite refreshing, not artifical, but light.

Bottled. Murky red/orange colour with big creamy white head. Raspberry and slight wheat all the way through the beer. Some mild hoppyness comes along in the finish.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. (4.8%) Cloudy reddish amber. Aroma of tart raspberries mixed with bubblegum. Sweet and estery with fairly light body and short flavour. Like always any attempt to mix hefeweizen with fruit is doomed.
