A hoppy and aromatic session ale with bright citrus flavours. Aromas of grapefruit, pine and herbs are followed by a soft bitterness and earthy undertones.

500ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from Beers of Europe. Middle of the road gold and clear with a thin film of white head. Light waxy citrus aroma, lots of hay and some grassy character. Bittersweet taste with more atringency getting toward the short finish. It's more like a British golden beer than an APA but it isn't bad to drink.

500ml stylish bottle picked up at Gulating Ølutsalg in Bodø. Good looking with a patchy white surface, upper part lacing on the glass, and a bright golden-brown body. Earthy malts and leafy hops on the nose, promising. Well blended taste of lemony hops, biscuit, and mild caramel malts. Drying close with leafy hop bitterness. Medium bodied. A well crafted, tasty brew. (Bodø Panorama 02.04.2022).

26/6/2021. Bottle shared with Dan & ITFCfan at the Euro16 beer share. As Stateside Pale Ale. Bought at the St Peter's Brewery shop. Pours clear pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, malt, touch of biscuit and pine. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Light to moderate body, slight oily watery texture, average carbonation. Light dryness and nice bitterness to finish.

[50cl bottle from a Farm Shop on the A10 near Royston.] A pale amber pour with a loose white head; aroma of yeast and a touch of citrus; stewed malty taste with some caramel and grapefruit; then a dry earthy finish with some esters and pine resin. Rather disappointing.
