Bottle at home. Aroma is strong grapes, lots of white wine, big oak, malt, touch of ripe fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a very dry finish. Body is medium. Barrel notes dominate this Saison. It’s pretty good for sure, but I’d wish for a little more balance between Saison and BA.

Bottle. Amber color. Citrus and white wine in the aroma. Malty yet dry flavor. Dried citrus, floral notes, oak and white wine. Alcoholic but complex. Dried fruit in the finish. Lovely.

Draught @ BAF 2016 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Emelisse White Label Imperial Saison White Wine BA ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, moderate yeasty, saison yeast, apple, apple - wine (white wine), alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, apple, apple - wine (white wine), saison yeast, sweet malt, light alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively, light alcoholic and vinous. [20160925] 7-3-7-3-15

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 12 2022, 33 cl sample. Almost clear amber color, big rocky head. Aroma of flowery and woody oak, slight spicy and peppery, fruity white wine. Bitter cookie in taste, slight vinous, bit spicy. Some vinous tannines in the finish. Wine barrel dominates, but very enjoyable.

Bottle. Orange golden pour. Aroma has horseblanket, white vinous grape, vanilla, buttery caramel and orange. Taste has soft horseblanket, vinous white grape, oak, buttery caramel, vanilla, some ripe fruit and a soft booze burn in the finish. Very good.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Beautiful, amber colored beer with huge natural white dense foam. Aroma has vanilla, fruits, grape, herbs. Taste has some alchohol, yeast, herbs and spices. A lot white wine feeling. Quite full body, creamy mouthfeel, low carbonation. Strange but nice!

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Nose of vanilla, citrus, grapes. Taste is bitter, spicy and vinous. Also sweet. Interesting but a bit alcoholic and not easy drinkable.

33cl Bottle from hetbiermoment.nl, thanks Harmen! Dark amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of oak, white wine, spicy yeast, apple sauce, old cookies, wood, malts. Flavour is malty sweet, old cookies, vanilla, woody bitterness, white wine, light tartness, spicy saison yeast, apple sauce, woody bitter finish. Medium to full bodied, over-carbonated. Expected a lot more.
