[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a thin white head; orchard fruit aroma; rather thin in the mouth with a taste of pear; then an autumnal fruity finish. Very drinkable.

Copper pour with a good sized beige cap.
Nose is biscuit, dried fruit esters, herb.
Taste comprises brown bread, biscuit, straw, toasted grains.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close.
Tidy bitter.

Cask at Oakley Arms, Harrold, Beds. Pours clear mid brown with beige foam. Malt, biscuit, caramel, mild hedgerow. Light sweet & light to moderate bitter. seim-dry finish. Towards medium body. Fair

Cask at the St Albans beer festival 2024. A mostly clear golden coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is straw, damp hay, grassy hop. Flavour is composed of grain tannin, straw, husky grains, firm grassy bitterness. Palate is crisp, grainy, mellow carbonation drying finish.
