Can: Golden, a bit hazy, no head to speak of; sweet grainy-corny nose with traces of mineral-water; light to moderate sweetish flavour, light bodied; short grainy-sweetish finish. Boring, one-dimensional brew........

500ml can at Chris_o birthday bash 08. Pale gold with thin white head. Not a great lager. Pretty awful flavours. Bit of lemon.

Can, 4.5%. (The red can). Gusher. Bad maizy/grainy aroma. Clear golden colour. Almost no head. Thin mouthfeel. Watery, yet bready flavour. Low to medium bitterness. Not good.

Test vom 1.10.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 4,4,4,2,4,3 - 3,30

(Bottle 33 cl) Straw golden, very yellowish actually, slightly hazy. Decent head that collapses rather fast though. Incredibly dry, absolutely no sweetness here. Very pronounced bitterness, albeit a short one. And then I get the most unbelievable notes of....gueuze!!! - in both aroma and flavour. Where the f... do they come from. Strange but pleasant indeed. A lot more characterful than the stronger IV version. 270505

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with small bubbly head. Hoppy and malty aroma with weak caramellish hints. Flavour is sweet malty and a bit hoppy. Hayish finish and aftertaste. Dry mouthfeel.

2005 bottle from Juha, thanks! Light gold-yellow body, clear. Small amount of bubbles rising and yet a large white head is formed and is very well-retained. Smells of honey, some sweatiness, bit of wet hay. Begins with light honeyish malt and some hops bitterness that is felt on the back of the throat. Sweet honey finish, light herbs, perhaps. No flaws, or very few. Low hops apparency overall, medium-light body, but not watery or thin at all. Low carbonation. Could stand to be a good deal more crisp on the end. Retronasal has hay, herbs, some minerals.

Bottled (BB 01/2005)
Typical light lager outlook. Aroma has malts, rye bread, metal and hints of toffee, it’s also a bit ashy. Good malty body with some crisp hops thrown in and cracker-like palate. Aftertaste is pleasantly hoppy (not harsh I like in many Finnish megalagers). This is better that the stronger version. (4/2/6/3/10 2.5)
Re-rated, can (BB says "Koe2005" which means literally "test2005")
Golden, small creamy white head. Same kind of skunky-rye nose than in canned version of dark Kuohu. Good soft hopping in the palate and ok malt character. Short hoppy finish. (4/2/5/3/9 2.3)

Pale golden. Grassy aroma. Light bodied and dry with fairly good bitterness. Not a bad effort.
