Bottle from The Bottle Shop Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear amber colour with a lasting beige head. Quite an earthy ipa. Now that is odd. It tastes like some of the homebrew I’ve made. Some bitterness. Some cereal on the aroma. As I say odd. Not my kind of thing.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 14 Sep 2016) Pale amber colour with creamy off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, orange peel, toffee and black-currant. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, crisp-bread, orange peel, black-currant, and a generous citric, slightly metallic, bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Keg at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Almost clear bronze colour, small coarse head. Caramelly nose. Sweet with solid body and dense, clean mouthfeel. Dough and caramel, some peppery bread. Light resiny bitterness. Totally lacks hop aroma.

Tap @ Beer Temple. Golden yellow color, mostly clear. Off white head with good lacing. Aroma’s: sweet, fruity, raisin. Retronasal it’s sweet, rye malt, light bitter. Flavor is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Finish develops towards full bitterness. OK, not sure how fresh this was.

Bottle - Citrus and some wet grass. Clear gold with a rich white head. Sweet, very perfumy and tons of grass with a bitter finish. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear copper with a gold hue and a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy citrus and sweet grains with a bit of resin backing. Flavor has earthy citrus supported by sweet grain, a bit of biscuit and a hint of resin.
