Midnight Mass is a black Double IPA featuring all the same hops as Alien Church. A malt bill comprised of 2-Row, fluffy oats, winter wheat and specialty dark malts and hopped heavily with Columbus and Cascade before being dry hopped equally heavily with Citra, Chinook and Mosaic. Brew team is kind of thinking of this one as imperial Black Church.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Jet black pour. Large frothy tan head. Roasty malt aroma is balance by a robust, spicy, resiny hoppiness. Flavor is sharp, bitter and hoppy. Resiny pine and dank citrus along with notes of bittersweet chocolate. Quite tasty.

Can. Pours clear mahogany, large beige head, good lacing. Aroma is ashy, pine, earth. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter. Medium body

2024 needs more black IPAs/Cascadian dark ales.

Nottingham Forest 🌳 beating Man United today at the City Ground. Great second half, after a rather drab first.
