Slightly hazy amber and light copper coloured body with a ton of bubbles rising from the bottom, all with a nice one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of malt, cereal, bread, a touch of coriander seed and a bunch of yeast. Medium-bodied; Assertive lemon and sour notes up front - very interesting and unexpected with some latter flavours of malt and curacao and a hint of sweetness. Aftertaste shows a bunch more sour notes, a lot of lemons, curacao, coriander seed and a hint of malt - no hops at all here, but the sour notes remain until the very end - nice, interesting and not really a belgie to me, but interesting, for sure. Overall, worth trying if you like sours or want a light summer beer - this one fits that bill exclusively. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 02-August-2013 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 27-August-2013.
